Congressman Dennis Kucinich has just filed a lawsuit which he hopes will grant NBC a court order to have him participate in the upcoming Nevada presidential debates. He was originally invited to the debates, but just a few days ago, NBC told him not to show up after suddenly changing their criteria. The lawsuit was filed in the District Court of Las Vegas against NBC Universal Inc., owned by General Electric and Vivendi Universal.

The debates are to be held just a few days before the Nevada caucuses, an important part of the elections for any candidate who hopes to win [the Presidential Elections]. The date of the debate is Jan. 15.

Well, here’s a message to the mainstream media: Don’t mess with Kucinich, because he will come after you.

Update: Kucinich wins! The Associated Press is now reporting that NBC must admit Kucinich to the Nevada debate on orders of the court. The debate will not be allowed to air if Kucinich is not allowed to participate.
